Description

A professional Excel calculator built by ADB Logistics Consulting to take the guesswork out of knowing when to reorder stock. For every item (SKU) you track, it calculates a Reorder Point — the stock level at which a new order should be placed — from your own demand, lead-time and safety-stock figures, and compares it against your current stock position to give a plain-language status: OK, due for reorder, at urgent risk of stocking out, or already out of stock.

The workbook specifically handles a common, costly mistake: mixing demand and lead-time units (for example, a weekly demand figure against a lead time measured in days). Every item lets you state its own unit for demand and lead time, and the workbook converts everything to a common basis internally before calculating — so figures for different items stay comparable even when recorded in different units.
